The hardest call of the whole thing, and it is not close.

Subbing out is difficult, and in my case it was Josh Kelly, twice.

He kind of knows he is going to get subbed. When you have got a team where Tooms, Taco and myself have all played professional golf and played well at the highest level, how do I sit one of them?

This one was tougher because Josh actually played well. It is not a knock on Josh at all. It is more me praising Tooms and Taco for being as good as they are.

And Josh being who he is, he is a team player. He one hundred percent does not mind sitting if it makes the team better.

 

You want us to rotate who sits

A lot of you said the same thing. Here is my honest problem with it.

We have seen a lot of comments saying you should not be able to sit the same guy twice. That you have to rotate it.

It would add an interesting wrinkle. It would make for better content. I will give you that.

But then it is, man, what if I have to sit Tooms? He has played on the DP World Tour. What if I have to sit Taco? He won the New Zealand PGA five years ago.

As a competitor that is a tough one to get on board with. Next year, when we have actually had time to think it through, it could be a rule.

Yes, the wildcards get paid

Short answer to a question a lot of you asked.

Do the wildcards share the prize fund if the team wins? Yes. Everybody does. It is a five-man team, so the wildcards get the money the same as anybody else. No asterisk on it.

 

Best golfer, or best content?

The thing me, Wes and Grant all keep going round on.

There is an aspect where we want to play the best golf and have a chance to win, so you put the strongest team you can out there.

Then there is the content side. Somebody with a bigger following who is not quite as good a golfer might make for a better watch, but it makes your team weaker. All of us struggle with it.

Right now I am leaning towards high-level professional golfers. I do not love that I have just given that away.

Our wildcards have been great, though. Every one of them has added value, and they shake things up. That was always the intent.
